João Fonseca, an up and coming Brazilian tennis player, first made a name for himself winning the boys singles title at the US Open in September.

The 17 year old has since won his first professional match at the Brasilia Challenger, and served as a sparring partner for players including Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner. Fonseca is set to compete at more senior tournaments, and recently signed to play at the University of Virginia in 2024.
